NOTES

Orton was not found on any census after 1881 but the following records shows that he travelled first to South Africa in 1895 and then to Australia in 1889.  He returned to England soon after as he married Annie Marshall in Wandsworth in 1901.  He must have returned to Australia after his marriage because in 1924 there is a record of him coming back to the UK from Australia. There are no records found for Annie travelling with him. There were no children found either in Australia or the UK.
